Comfortable stay

effective blackout curtains comfortable temperature separate toilet

The room had very effective blackout curtains. The air conditioning worked well, maintaining a comfortable temperature. The junior suite included an extra space for getting ready. This was a big plus. I especially appreciated the separate toilet from the bathroom.

Street noise affected sleep because of single-glazed windows, especially early in the morning.

Facilities

The hotel bar area outside was lovely for enjoying a drink before dinner. The location is great. It is a twenty minute walk to the Louvre. Luxembourg gardens are also nearby, reachable within a ten minute walk.

Service

9/10

The staff were helpful and polite. It was a pleasure dealing with them. I had no problems with my requests. The staff helped with directions and reservations at local restaurants in the vicinity.

Rooms

9/10

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The toilet and bathroom were separate, a REALLY nice feature. Whilst the extra room isn't huge, this is welcome.

The room turned out small. Maneuvering around the bed proved DIFFICULT. There was no proper shower, just a clawfoot tub. As a result, bathing was difficult.
